Monica Defortuna is Vice President of Fortune International Realty. Since its founding in 1990 by her brothers, Walter and Edgardo Defortuna, Fortune has grown in reputation and experience as the premier Latin American real estate firm in South Florida and is the largest family-owned and operated real estate firm in Florida.
 
Ms. Defortuna, a native of Cordoba, Argentina, joined the firm at its incept, bringing with her a background that includes a law degree from the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Argentina, and a master's degree in Administrative Law.
 
Ms. Defortuna specializes in both commercial and luxury residential properties and is in the top half of 1 percent of Real Estate Agent in the United States. She has sold luxury property in Key Biscayne, Brickell, Fisher Island, Coconut Grove, Hibiscus, Palm, and Star Islands, as well as luxury condominiums in such exclusive, high-profile properties as The Ocean Club, Grand Bay, Santa Maria, Bristol, Jade, Icon Brickell, Portofino, The Bath Club, The Setai, Akoya, Ocean One and Two, Continuum, Four Seasons, One Bal Harbour and Bellini.

As vice president of a family-owned and operated business, Monica Defortuna is most particular about providing clients with a personal level of assistance which is a key factor in the growth and reputation of her family’s firm.
